Love Jihad: Attempt to sell woman to ISIS in Syria after forcefully converting her.

A woman of 25 from Pathanamthitta escaped an attempt to sell her to ISIS in Syria by a man named Mohammed Riyas Rashidi who had converted her to Islam through blackmail.

Kerala Police investigation team on this case says they have uncovered a dedicated network operating in the North Kerala and South Karnataka who engage in such activities. 10 people including a woman have been identified and two people who allegedly facilitated their marriage has been arrested. The main accused was in Saudi Arabia and was later arrested by NIA at Chennai.

Accused Mohammed Riyas Rashidi

The Pathanamthitta native woman grew up in Gujarat. She met Riyas while studying in Bangalore.

She was allegedly raped and was blackmailed using video of her rape to convert her to Islam and to make her a follower of Zakir Naik. The woman was confined in a place in North Paravur for 6 months after which she was taken to Saudi Arabia where she was made to watch Zakir Naik videos and such. She got some clue that she was going to be sold to ISIS in Syria and escaped from his clutches and flew back to India with the help of Malayalees whom she met at the airport.

Kerala police staff found to be part of islamist whatsapp group name Pacha Velicham

A few Muslim police staff from Adoor KAP 3rd Battalion demanded they be posted for airport duty. This raised suspicions and an investigation ordered by the battalion IG revealed they were part of an Islamist Whatsapp group called"Pacha Velicham" (green light) with pro PFI views. There was an effort by higher ups in the police force to hush up this matter. January 29, 2018.

Kasargod street renamed as Gaza street by Muslim youth. NIA alerted.

In a street in Thuruthi near Padanna Village, Kasargod, Muslim youngsters changed the signboards and unofficially named the street as "Gaza Street" after the so called Palestinian territory. The name Gaza is synonymous with Islamic separatism and terrorism.

A local Muslim league leader claims there is no ill intent and is just a cultural expression like Saddam beach in Kozhikode or Gaddafi street in Malappuram. But on the other hand, this is near the same place from where 22 youngsters had left to join IS. Even if it is mere coincidence, it seems that a Pan-Islamic globalist attitude is present in this region. NIA is reportedly looking into this matter.

NIA cracks Ansar ul Khalifa module, 6 arrested in Kannur for planning ISIS style attacks.

Ansar ul Khalifa was an online Jihadi module with up to 25 members with ISIS ties. They were found planning various types of attacks across Kerala. Headed by an NIT Calicut graduate Shajeer(Killed in Afghanistan), they operated in secret Facebook and Multiple telegram groups. 6 were arrested from a meeting in Kannur where they were targeting politicians in Kerala and Tamilnadu. Their confiscated mobiles revealed that many more attacks were in the works. Many details of this group was revealed by NIA during a court hearing in 17May2019.

Plan to Attack RSS

They had tragetted RSS members in Kozhikode for an attack in 2016 to show the strength and reach of ISIS. But it was called off due to various reasons.

They had also made plans to kill two High-court judges and a senior police officer named Unni Rajan.

Attack on interfaith peace meet

The group was planning a Nice-style (truck loaded with explosives) attack on a public gathering in September 2016 led by Jamaat-e-Islami. The gathering included Rahul Eeswar and other Hindu faith leaders. The motive was to attack Muslims who make peace with Kafirs as they too are enemies of Islam. However NIA found out about it and the venue was changed to an indoor location.

Kerala Imam in Kochi offers Friday prayers for Ajmal Kasab, one of the 26/11 attackers.

A Imam in Kochi offered prayers for Ajmal Kasab among other departed souls as a part of Friday prayers at a Mosque on 23rd November 2012. Ajmal Kasab was a Pakistani terrorist involved in the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai who was captured and sentenced to death. The Imam in question is Abdul Rauf Maulavi who is a Khattiba (Friday prayer leader) at Thrikkakkara Juma Masjid in Kochi. Reportedly the Imam said at the prayer,"I pray for the Muslim brother, Ajmal Kasab who was hanged". The prayer was offered two days after the hanging of Ajmal Kasab.

Although the Imam has denied the accusation, the Mosque management body had removed him from the post. The Intelligence bureau has taken up investigation into the matter.

Jithu Mohan Murder: Burnt alive for loving Muslim girl.

Jithu Mohan, a Hindu youth from Alappuzha was burnt alive because he loved a Muslim girl. The culprit was the girl's uncle named Wahab who was an officer in the Armed reserve police force. Jithu was reportedly taken to Wahab's house by force where he was doused in petrol and set on fire for refusing to convert to Islam. Incident was on 28th September 2012 Jithu succumbed to his injuries days after being hospitalised at Amrita hospital. He was an up and coming state level football player. Hindu organisation came out in support of the family and led protests for criminal conviction of responsible after the state police tried to cover it up as attempted suicide.

The attitude towards interfaith love marriage among Kerala Muslims is one-sided and hypocritical. They scream for civil rights if a Hindu girl wants convert to Islam and marry a Muslim boy and is opposed by her family but  themselves will only support marriages in which the outsider will convert to Islam. If not, the relation is broken up usually through intimidation and violence.

Edakkad jihadi terror recruitment by LeT. Case of 2008

4 Malayalis were found killed among the jihadis gunned down by the armed forces at the India-Pakistan border in Kashmir during October 2008. Meanwhile, in Kerala an unrelated investigation by Edakkad SI Sunil Kumar found that a SIMI aide named Abdul Jaleel had received phone calls from J&K regarding the deaths of the four Malayali jihadis. This led to the discovery of a wide terror recruitment network operating in Kerala for the purpose of Jihad in Kashmir.

Thadiyantavide Naseer

The recruitment operation was carried out under the leadership of the then Lashkar e Taiba(LeT) commander of South India Thadiyantavide Naseer of Kozhikode blasts and Kalamassery bus burning infamy. At the time of discovery by the authorities, the module had 24 personnel including Naseer and the four who were killed in the encounter in Kashmir. The group had grown by attracting youth through incitement against the Indian state that was done under the guise of Islamic spiritual classes conducted in various places including Mosques in North/Central Kerala and Hyderabad.

A number of the group members went to J&K for terror training and there they were encountered by Indian forces killing four. It is notable that one of those killed (Mohammed Yassin) was a Christian(Varghese Joseph) who was converted to Islam by another in the same group. Some escaped the encounter and fled to Kerala and laid low using false identities. Later 18 got arrested of whom 13 were convicted by a NIA court on 1 October 2013.
